MIKULÁŠ HRDLIČKA
Mikuláš recently completed his bachelor’s degree at the Department of Cinematography at FAMU in Prague and is now pursuing a Master’s degree.
He has been working in visual art for more than seven years. Before attending FAMU, he studied applied photography and media at the Secondary School of Graphic Arts. He likes experimenting with imagery and creating different atmospheres where these two majors mix. So, he studied two different schools with not-so-different disciplines that greatly influenced him.
His primary focus is on feature filmmaking, but he also finds fulfillment in making documentaries. His school exercise, Metro (2023), has been selected for international short film festivals, such as the Reggio Film Festival in Italy and the Short Story Film Festival in America.
