Lukáš Kokeš en
Lukáš Kokeš studied at the Department of Film Studies at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University and graduated from the Department of Documentary Filmmaking at FAMU in Prague. In addition to his short films, he co-directed with Klára Tasovská the feature film Fortress (2012), awarded as the best Czech documentary at the Jihlava IDFF 2012, subsequently screened at many international documentary festivals and nominated for the LUX Prize 2013. As a co-writer of the theme and director and cinematographer of the second crew, he participated in creating the drama series Wasteland (2016), produced by HBO Europe. With Klára Tasovská as a co-director and cinematographer, he made Nothing Like Before (2017), which competed in the First Appearance section at IDFA 2017. Since November 2018, he has been an internal teacher at the Department of Documentary Film at FAMU, where he leads the dramaturgy seminar. As a producer, he is currently working on the development and production of several documentaries and feature projects.
