Adam Mach
Adam Mach is a cinematographer based in Prague and Bratislava. He was born in 1992 and graduated from FAMU in Prague. In 2016, his short film “Fear” was awarded the Best Cinematography in a Short Film Award at the 4th International Film Festival in Prague. AFC Caméflex Paris in France and at the 8. IFF Ostrava Kamera Oko in the Czech Republic. In 2017, his short film Atlantis, 2003 won the Best Cinematography Award at the Ačko Student Film Festival. In 2018, the Association of Czech Cinematographers awarded his next short film The Truck, for the best camera in a short film. Feature films, TV series, and short films Adam has worked on as DOP have been screened at many international festivals, such as Cannes Film Festival, Berlinale, Venice FF, TIFF Toronto, San Sebastian IFF, Busan IFF, Karlovy Vary IFF, Warsaw IFF, Art Film Fest Košice, Vilnius IFF, Poitiers FF, Festival Premiers plans Angers, Ji.hlava, International Film Festival in Kiev, Festival Caminhos Cinema and others. Adam is a member of BLOK_4, a collective interested in all forms of light.
