Klára Belicová
Klára Belicová is a cinematographer living in Prague. She finished her studies at FAMU with a Master’s degree in 2017. She made the documentaries HELENA’S LAW (directed by Petra Nesvačilová, 2016), which was nominated for the Czech Lion in the Best Documentary category, and in 2020, K2 MY WAY, directed by Jana Počtová. She has made several short films, including INVERSION (directed by Lucia Kajánková, 2021) and FRANCEK (directed by N. Císařovská, 2020). Her student films FOUR DAYS IN DEPOT (directed by Luboš Kučera, 2013) and HOUR BETWEEN THE DOG AND WOLF (directed by N. Císařovská, 2014) were nominated for the Magnesia Award for Best Student Film.
Her first feature film SNOWING! (dir. Kristina Nedvědová) was released in Czech cinemas in 2019. Her latest cinematographic work is HER BODY (dir. Natálie Císařovská), which will premiere at the Tallinn International Film Festival in November and then in Czech cinemas.
