Lucie Králíková

Lucie Králíková is a visual artist and landscape architect. She mainly explores extinct festivals and ceremonies in her work, trying to update them and bring them back to the present in a new way. She likes to collaborate with the public. Most often, she draws on ethnology, history, or eco-philosophy. Twelve years ago, she founded the art-ecological platform Efemér, which focuses on landscape, plants, their symbolism, and their role in traditional culture. Ephemera is variable and can take the form of a ceremony, festival, pilgrimage, installation, or text (e.g., the book Sacraments, Wanderlust: Heimat).
