Workshop of Animation

60 min
The animation workshop, organized by OKO in collaboration with the Department of Animation at the Faculty of Arts of the OU, will introduce the basics of stop motion animation and pixelation. It is suitable for anyone who wants to try these techniques without experience. Pupils, students, children, and adults are welcome. The workshop starts on 16th November at 4 pm at the City Campus and will last one hour. In stop-motion animation, participants will work with flat objects, attempting to move them around under the camera to create fluid movement, action, or story. In pixelation, they will try their hand at being an animator, director, or actor-puppeteer. Then, they will create, this time in space, using a tripod and camera and stop-motion animation techniques. The workshop is free, and registration in advance is unnecessary.
