Františka Bakošová
Before studying cinematography at FAMU, she participated in several smaller competitions with her films, such as PFK, My Street Films, Mladá Kamera Uničov, and others. At the age of 16, her film “VH” was nominated for the International Documentary Film Festival in Ji.hlava in the Experimental Films category, and later her film “ME” was nominated for the Nespresso Talents award. She was also a repeat winner of the PFK main competition. Her work also includes a number of collaborations as a cinematographer, for example, the film Paštiky by director Jakub Ondráček (selected for the Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival) and the film Moje domovina by director Sarah Slavíčková (nominated for Prague Shorts, the student section of the Magnesia Award, and the student section of Kviff). Her work also includes a number of music videos, for example for the band Chinaski, where she worked as a director and art director.
