ADAM FALTUS
Adam studied film camera at university, having previously completed secondary school specializing in product design. He has been fascinated by films since childhood, which led to his interest in photography, which he began to develop as a self-taught photographer at the age of 15. Photography gradually led him to filmmaking, and he now sees it more as a way to relax and escape from the demanding work on film projects.
Throughout his career, he has been involved in various types of projects, from commercials to short and feature films. Although he still occasionally works as a colorist or focus puller, his main passion remains cinematography, where he can apply his creative approach and lead the entire process of image creation.
His work has been presented at several major festivals, including Ostrava Kamera Oko, which focuses on cinematographers. In his work, he emphasizes not only working with light, but also framing, which he considers a key means of expression for storytelling. He is constantly looking for new ways to tell stories through images and push the boundaries of his work.
