A young man is confronted by his subconscious in the form of a feathered visitor. Amid a flood of abstract images and dreams, he grapples with the idea of the finitude of existence. His rejection of the world’s order culminates in the Raven’s transformation into a monster in the shape of his deceased lover, Lenore.
