A selection of video works by students from the Video–Multimedia–Performance Studio and the Concept–Object–Installation Studio at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music, University of Ostrava, will showcase diverse approaches to the contemporary moving image and its possibilities within contemporary art. The screening will feature experimental videos, original audiovisual works, and conceptually driven projects that move beyond traditional cinematic storytelling and explore the relationships between image, sound, space, and time. This joint presentation of the two studios offers an insight into the diverse forms of student work, bringing together intermedia approaches, visual experimentation, and the search for new modes of artistic expression.
