AŇA GEISLEROVÁ
Czech internationally award-winning actress whose work has earned acclaim both at home and abroad. Her powerful performance in Happiness earned her the prestigious Concha de Plata at the San Sebastián Film Festival in 2005, and she has since received numerous accolades, including five Czech Lion Awards. Ana was also honored as a Berlinale Shooting Star and received the Angela Award at the Subtitle Film Festival in Kilkenny.
International audiences know her for her role in the historical thriller Anthropoid, where she starred alongside Cillian Murphy and Jamie Dornan, as well as for her performance in the acclaimed UK television series The Ipcress File, alongside Joe Cole and Tom Hollander.
At the beginning of 2025,she completed filming &Sons, directed by Pablo Trapero, which is now in post-production. The film features a stellar cast including Bill Nighy, Noah Jupe, George MacKay, Imelda Staunton, and Johnny Flynn.
Ana recently joined the L’Oréal family as an ambassador—an honor she holds with pride—and is thrilled to walk the red carpet at Cannes.
This year, she appears in two major film projects. Caravan, directed by Zuzana Kirchnerová, is premiering in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival. The second film, The Spring, directed by Ivan Ostrochovský, features her alongside Vlad Ivanov. Ana also serves as executive producer on both films, further showcasing her creative versatility.
In addition to her work on screen, Ana is a published author of two books and is currently working on her third.
