Bohdan Karásek

 

Bohdan Karásek is a Czech director, producer, actor and musician. He was born in 1978 in Brno and made his first amateur films in the 1990s. He first graduated from the Film College in Zlín and then continued at the Department of Screenwriting and Dramaturgy at FAMU. He then worked here for two years as a teaching assistant. His most famous films include Lucie (2011) and Milostné písně (2013). In 2019, his last film, Karel, já a ty, premiered at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
