Jana Hojdová
Jana Hojdová comes from a family of filmmakers. Her grandfather was Bořivoj Zeman and also her parents Petr Hojda and Zuzana Zemanová work in the film industry. Since she was a child, Jana wanted to follow in their footsteps so she logically went to study the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. Her graduate film The Dream (2015) was nominated for the Best Cinematography award at the CamerImage 2015 and in 2016, it won the Jaroslav Kučera award given by the Association of Czech Cinematographers. Her film Chronicle, Petr Hojda (2015) competed in the Short Film Competition at the Ostrava Kamera Oko 2016.
