Milan Balog

Milan Balog, a Slovak director, cinematographer and screenwriter, graduated from the Department of Documentary Film of the Academy of Performing Arts Bratislava, where he finished his doctorate in 2007. He directed documentary films Boxers (2000), LooP (2004) and Standard Bastard (2005). He has written and directed the short-film Monsterprocess (2011). As a cinematographer, he worked on the experimental film Smog from 2008 (directed by Daniel Rihák) and the 2013 film Fine, Thanks (directed by Matyáš Prikler).
