Paweł Borowski

Paweł Borowski is one of the most sought-after directors in commercials, social campaign videos and feature films in Poland. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, majoring in painting and animation. After graduating in 1997, he began making short films, with which he succeeded at a number of international festivals. In 2009, he made his feature film debut with ZERO, which was screened at festivals in Rotterdam, Sao Paulo, Washington, Munich, Milan and more. He won five of them in the main competition and garnered critical acclaim. His second feature project is the noir thriller Ja teraz kłamię (2019), set in a retro-futuristic fictional world. He has been a member of the Polish Film Academy and the European Film Academy since 2010.
