Peter Zeitlinger
Peter Zeitlinger grew up in a musicians family that emigrated from Prague to Austria after 1968. While growing up, he focused on film and had shot over 70 short movies before going to the film academy. During his studies he was mostly influenced by Michael Shaw and Peter Kubelka. Since the 90’s he cooperates with Werner Herzog and together they filmed Encounters at the End of the World (2007) which was a documentary nominee for the Oscars. Peter Zeitler also shot Herzog’s new film called Salt and Fire (2016).
