Tudor Alexandru Mircea

Tudor Alexandru Mircea is Romanian cinematographer born in 1976. He collaborated with French director Gérard Cuq on several of his short films and TV series episodes (Ariane Ferry, La Voie de Laura). He made a feature film with the Austrian director Wolfram Paulus and worked on the debut of the Romanian director Cristina Ionescu (Dupa ea, 2007). He is one of the distinguished cinematographers of the important European film movement –  “new wave” of Romanian cinema. Fis filmography includes award-winning films directed by Marian Crisan (Megatron, Palme d’Or for best short film in Cannes 2008; Morgen, 2010) and Corneliu Porumboiu (When Evening Falls on Bucharest or Metabolism, 2013 and The Treasure, 2015).
