Michal Kindernay

 

Michal Kindernay is an artist, performer, film experimenter, curator, and educator. His audiovisual installations connect the fields and tools of art, technology, and science. He often touches on and reflects on environmental issues through the application of technological approaches in relation to nature. His works include video performances and interactive installations, experimental film projects, intermedia and documentary projects and musical sound compositions. He is the co-founder of the yo-yo art organization and the initiator of the RurArtMap project. He is a teacher in the new master’s programme at Prague College University and externally at the Centre of Audiovisual Studies at FAMU in Prague. As an artist, organizer, or teacher, he has participated in many international artistic, research, film, and theatre projects.
