The film traces the life journey of Josef František, from his early days in the Czechoslovak Air Force and combat missions in Poland, through his dramatic escape from the Nazis, to his service in the British Royal Air Force and his legendary role in the Battle of Britain. Lone Wolf combines the historical context with the personal story of a man whose courage, independence, and reputation as a “lone hunter” made him a legend even during his lifetime.
