MICHAELA HOŠKOVÁ
Michaela is a Slovak cinematographer living in Estonia. In 2024, she won the Best Cinematography award at the Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival for her feature-length documentary debut Fakír. She is a graduate of the Kino Eyes Film Master’s Programme. Since 2019, she has been working on several feature-length documentaries, including Fakír, Svetský (Always Far Away), Children of the Moon Land, and Valley of Widows, as well as short feature films. Together with director Roman Ďuriš, she is currently preparing her feature-length fiction debut Manéž (The Ring).
