Cinematographer, educator, and post-production supervisor, working since 2005 as a freelance cinematographer on feature films, documentaries, series, and commercials. He graduated from the Department of Cinematography at FAMU, where he later earned his doctorate and teaches at FAMU International and Freecinema. As a cinematographer, he has participated in award-winning projects such as the series Metoda Markovič: Hojer (AČK Award for Best Cinematography in a TV Series, 2024; Best Series at the Serial Killer Festival, 2023) and the series TBH (Finále Plzeň Award, 2022). He has also collaborated on the films Suntali (Busan Festival 2014, Nepal Critics’ Award for Cinematography), Central Bus Station (Sheffield Doc/Fest 2018), and Lucie (award in Beijing and nomination for Best Cinematography in China). Since 2024, he has been vice-chairman of the Association of Czech Cinematographers.
