Sabiwa

 

Sabiwa: In her airy compositions, Berlin-based, Taiwanese multimedia artist Sabiwa ingeniously combines the practices of concrete music, digitally processed classical instruments, layered loops of her own modified voice, and the unusually grasped echoes of the trip-hop wave of the 1990s. In doing so, she creates a distinctive dream world with an elusive collage-like logic at the intersection of sound art, evocative video game soundtracks, and futuristic pop.
