Wim Dehaen

Wim Dehaen is a sound artist, analytical chemist, and founding member of the Genot Centre collective. In his wide-ranging work under names such as BENELUX ENERGY and mango object, he combines the current possibilities of all things digital, a fascination with the uncompromisingly blunt sound of Benelux dance music from the turn of the millennium, and a love of updated forms of modernist classical composition. In Ostrava, for the first time, he will present his radical vision of the deconstruction of trap beats.
