Exhibition: 100 years of The Association of Czech Cinematographers

The 17th of July 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of founding the (first European) cinematographic association, Czech Cinematographers Club (KČKF). The exhibition of photographs created for the occasion of this anniversary presents the most prominent creators of the author’s film camera, from Jan Kříženecký to Vladimír Smutný. The Association of Czech Cinematographers has been active from its foundation to the present, and since 1996 it has been organizing Czech Cinematographers Association Award, striving for the recognition of the cinematography profession under the Copyright Act and is a long-term partner of Ostrava Kamera Oko — the only cinematography festival in the Czech Republic.
