Federico Cesca en

Federico Cesca was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At age 10 he moved to Chile, where he first had a short affair with music and later got his undergraduate degree in Architecture. It was only when he was 29 that he got a taste of filmmaking by shooting and editing a few super 8 and 16mm shorts. It left such a strong impression that he decided to pursue a career in Film via film school. He moved to New York City in 2010 and attended NYU Tisch thinking of becoming a writer/director, but soon discovered he was naturally inclined towards cinematography. During his student years he shot many short films that played Cannes, Sundance, Venice and Berlin among other festivals. Since receiving his MFA in 2013 he has shot many feature films and TV series. Most notable feature films include Patti Cake$ (USA. Sundance, Cannes ‘17), Roxanne Roxanne (USA. Sundance ‘17), Dead Pigs (China. Sundance ’18), Yomeddine (Egypt. Cannes ’18), Noah Land (Turkey. Tribeca ’19) and Nightsiren (Slovakia/Czech Republic. Locarno ’22). Recent TV work includes series Industry (UK. HBO/BBC) and last the season of Top Boy (UK. Netflix). He now lives in Slovakia with his wife and daughter.)
