Harsimran Kaur Anand en

Harsimran Kaur Anand is a young, dynamic, award winning filmmaker from India. Specialising in non-fiction film, she has worked with several not-for-profit organisations on subjects like forest rights and climate change adaptation. She has also diversified and worked on creative development of several ad commercials, cinematography in short fiction films and a popular Indian web series. Currently pursuing a Masters studies in Cinematography, she is in her final year at FAMU, Prague. Based in Prague, she intends to pursue her passion for cinematography and is interested in exploring and finding a place for herself in the International filmmaking community. She believes that her personality translates into her work bringing forth an amalgamation of Indian roots and aesthetics, through an international lens.
She is also an avid traveller with a curiosity to learn and understand deeply , the diverse cultures and practices across the world. In her free time, she enjoys bouldering, outdoor activities such as hiking and cooking.
