Jakob Ihre en
A Swedish cinematographer Jakob Ihre attended The National Film and Television School in England. He has shot 15 feature films and many documentaries and commercials since. In 2005 Jakob shot Joachim Trier’s multi awarded debut film REPRISE and cooperated with the director on other projects like OSLO, 31 AUGUST, LOUDER THAN BOMBS or THELMA, that won several awards for the best cinematography. Jakob lensed THE END OF THE TOUR (dir. James Ponsoldt) which premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film festival. Other feature credits include A FAMILY (dir. Pernille F. Christensen), NOKAS (dir. Erik Skoldbjaerg), UNMADE BEDS (dir. Alexis dos Santos) or YAHAAN (dir. Sujit Sircar). Jakob was awarded an Emmy, Bafta, BSC Award and the Sue Gibson Memorial Award for his cinematography on the Miniseries Chernobyl (HBO).
