Matěj Piňos en

Matěj Piňos graduated from the Film School in Zlín and is finishing his studies at FAMU in the Department of Cinematography. He has worked as a cinematographer on many award-winning films, among the most notable is Love, Dad (awarded the Czech Lion and the Czech Film Critics Award for Best Short Film 2021 and the Magnesia Award for Best Student Film). With director Adam Koloman Rybanský, they debuted with the feature film Somewhere over the Chemtrails, screened with great success at the prestigious Berlinale in the Panorama section. His work has also significantly impacted contemporary documentaries in films such as Empire Builders, Moravia, O Fair Land III, Circus Rwanda, and so on.
