A music critic and journalist has long focused on experimental music and is interested in the social and political stories of music. His book Gott: A Czechoslovak Story received the Book of the Year award at the 2022 Magnesia Litera Literary Awards. In Uvnitř banánu / Inside a Banana (2022), he highlights the stories of apparent outsiders, personalities of musical art brut, mystifiers, and others who turn conventional values upside down. He broadcasts experimental music on the CRo Vltava station in the programs Sedmé nebe and Artcafé. He is editor-in-chief of the GHMP magazine Qartal and music curator of the Ji.Hlava IDFF, founder and curator of the A Day of Sound festival in GASK in Kutná Hora, occasional filmmaker (Music by Zdeněk Liška), and lecturer at Umprum in Prague. His occasional DJing as a sound intervention in different environments also flows into a project for OKO, in which a community breakfast event, live collective sound improvisation, and film meet.
