Los Angeles, 2028. Just before the Summer Olympics. A virus infecting livestock is destroying all meat and poultry supplies, while at the same time, a cockroach infestation is spreading throughout the city. It’s the perfect opportunity for a new business venture, as society is forced to seek out a new source of protein. Two young men—whom some might call petty thieves—devise a plan, while the cramped urban spaces around them both reveal and conceal an atmosphere filled with paranoia and quiet rage.
