Luboš Kučera graduated from FAMU with the film Switched Shifts (2019). His film Four Days in the Depot (2013) was nominated for the Magnesia Czech Lion Award for Best Student Film and won the award for Best Feature Film at the Almaty Film Festival. The film The Wife (2014) was awarded Best Short Film at the International Festival in St. Petersburg. The film Cockroaches is his debut.
