VÍTĚZOVÉ OFICIÁLNÍHO VÝBĚRU 10. ROČNÍKU OSTRAVA KAMERA OKO

Porota oficiálního výběru ve složení Maja Dennhag, Paul Guilhaume a Santiago Racaj ocenila u příležitosti slavnostní závěrečné ceremonie festivalu dne 29. 9. následující filmy.

Cenu Grand Prix získává brazilský snímek Azougue Nazaré (rež. Tiago Melo, kam. Gustavo Pessoa).

Za schopnost vytvořit koexistující vesmír realismu a magie.

I’am deeply pleased and touched by the prize the Ostrava Kamera Oko festival and jury just gave to the film. It’s really incredible That Azougue travelled so far to touch people’s heart with it’s unique stories and glimpses of fantastic realism. This film was only possible  because of Nazaré’s extraordinary people and realm, and the unique way the film gently and intimatly approached it’s characters. It’s cinematography is the result of love and affection for it’s subjects. I would like to thank everyone involved in the making of the film and it’s cinematography. Thanks  to Nazaré da Mata for just beeing an incredible place To meet sensible people. Thanks To Tiago Melo for his great partnership and presenting me with his strong bounds with Nazaré. Speciální cena poroty byla udělena sérii Čtyři sestry / Les Quatre Sœurs (rež. Claude Lanzmann, kam. Dominique Chapuis, William Lubtchansky).
